Mediator between the audience and journalism
The pilot project "Ombudsmen in Tunisian media organizations" start after a three-day workshop in Tunis with its testing phase. The Erich Brost Institute for International Journalism at the Technical University of Dortmund (EBI, Dortmund) and Mena Media Monitoring (MMM, Tunis) had invited journalists from various Tunisian media outlets. The aim of the the workshop was to prepare the participants for their future work as ombudsmen in Tunisia.

From July 1, 2012 to August 30, a group composed of five observers started to “monitor” six daily and three weekly newspapers according to the methodology developed by the organization Media Monitoring Africa (MMA).

From December 20 to March 20, 2013, a group of 12 observers are going to watch the work of 14 media: six daily newspapers, four television channels and four radios according to the methodology developed by the Osservario de Pavia,
